Cool Rendezvous With Rama Fan Film

Rendezvous With Rama

Rendezvous With Rama

The main fodder for fan films is movies and TV; books don’t tend to show up that much, weirdly enough. I’ve always had a thing for them though (maybe because I made a fan film adapting parts of Neal Stephenson’s The Big U when I was in college). Now slashfilm has found a doozy—a cool, short take on Arthur C. Clarke’s classic, Rendezvous With Rama. Made in 2001 by Aaron Ross when he was a film student at NYU, he’s since gone on to work at Blue Sky Studios, taking part in the production of Robots, Ice Age: The Meltdown, Horton Hears a Who! and Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs.
