Over the last few days, I’ve been highlighting new Batman fan flicks that are currently in production, all hoping to hit the internet roughly around July 18, when The Dark Knight in theaters. Today, I’m highlighting one that’s actually finished.
If you want to see an unusual—but terminally cute—fan film, look no further than The Adventures of Little Batman, which Pulp Secret uncovered. It’s pretty nutty, if only ’cause the entire cast is under seven years old, but they have a working mini Batmobile that you have to see to believe, plus guest appearances by Batgirl, Shaggy from Scooby-Doo and others. It might be a little slow in spots, but the time, money and effort that went into this one is readily apparent. Clearly everyone involved, young and old, had a lot of fun making this movie—and, after all, that’s what fan films are supposed to be about anyway.
AWESOME! Joe Valenti will be guesting on the Fan Film Podcast in the very near future. Just waiting for him to get back with me for a time. A very cute, funny, and cool fan film.
